Manufacturing Feasibility Study

Most products don't fail in design. They fail because no one checked whether the design could actually be made — at the right cost, with the right process, at the intended scale. We do that check. Send us your brief; we return a structured written read covering viable manufacturing paths, material options, process combinations, and the risks your current plan is carrying.

  • Manufacturing method options (2–3 paths)
  • Material and process recommendations
  • Cost structure indicators
  • Risk flags and mitigation notes
  • Written recommendation

This is an analysis, not a quote. The goal is decision clarity before you commit to making anything.

Supplier Matching & Verification

Finding the right workshop is not a directory search. We identify candidates with real expertise in the specific material and process your piece needs, verify capability and reliability, and make the introduction — with your IP protected at every step.

  • Shortlist with capability evidence
  • Verification notes from direct contact or visit
  • Quotation facilitation and comparison
  • IP-aware introduction and file-release control

Production Coordination

Ongoing China-side management of your production: sample development, revision rounds, quality control, packaging and logistics. Structured updates at defined intervals — not silence followed by bad news.

  • Prototype and sample coordination
  • Production and quality monitoring
  • Packaging and shipping coordination
  • Documented progress reports

Full Project Coordination

End-to-end coordination for a defined product: from feasibility through supplier selection, prototyping, production and delivery, under one engagement. For projects that need a single accountable partner on the China side.

  • Everything in the services above
  • One point of contact, start to finish
  • Scope and milestones agreed up front

How a project runs

01

It starts with a feasibility study

Before anything is made, we pressure-test your design against the material and the process: what's viable, at what cost, at what scale, and what risks your plan is carrying. Most expensive surprises get caught here — including the times the answer is "not like this."

02

Prototype → process → small batch → production

We move in steps, and you see each one. Where the design needs a process that doesn't exist off the shelf, the development happens before it's scaled — not discovered halfway through a production run.

03

We document as we go

Photos, the decisions we made and why, the problems we hit and how we solved them. You're not getting a black box and a finished crate at the end; you're getting a record.

04

When something goes wrong

Something always does. What separates a partner from a vendor is what happens next. We tell you early, we tell you straight, and we bring options rather than excuses.

Workshops

Go into the material.
Make something while you're there.

Some of the most interesting creative work starts with a direct encounter with a process — being present as it happens, watching how a material behaves, getting your hands into the making. Our workshops service is for designers, makers and artists who want exactly that: first-hand engagement with a specific material or process, in the places where it's actually made. Not a path to a manufacturing contract — a separate track, for a different moment in the creative process.

Research & Liaison

We identify the right workshop for the material or process you want to explore, assess what's possible and on what terms, and make the introduction.

Every project starts the same way.

Send us the design — a drawing, a CAD file, a reference, even a clear description. We'll pressure-test it and come back with a written read: what's viable, what we'd change, and what it would take to make.
